A Relationship between food and robotics, How will we evolve together? It questions that relationship and how we encounter each other.
The relationship between food and robotics
How will we evolve together? We ask about that relationship and how we meet.
In recent years, the introduction and penetration rate of robots in the food manufacturing and food service industry has been increasing.
This exhibition was held in collaboration between Bridgestone, which has been developing and researching soft robots using rubber artificial muscles, and Food Creation.
Currently, robots are often introduced as machines in food production and distribution, but in the future, they will appear in our daily dining situations with more communication.
When that happens, how will we meet robots?
The way we meet will greatly change the relationship and existence of robots with humans.
Until now, robots have only had the function of grabbing, but now we can see how they can connect with humans.
At the venue, we created an entire experience where visitors can physically connect
with a third hand that is neither a human hand nor a robot hand and deepen their questions.

From grasping to connecting and beyond.
We grow and evolve through encounters and connections with others.
How we encounter robots can greatly affect our relationship with them and their value.
This is an experience that allows us to feel the limitless possibilities.
